Casa Benasal Family

Casa Benasal is the name of the neighboring house to Casa Gran that also belongs to the estate. In this house we find an over 300 years old winemaking cellar. We are putting some money aside in order to finance the restoration of this ancient cellar and to be able to offer a highly interesting visit.

Besides the 300 years old cellar we can also contemplate the architecture used at that time with a big fireplace where the family gathered around during their daily lives. The entrance is covered with small stones blended with soil for a dual purpose: It helped to drive the wagon inside and it was easier to spray with water on warmer days to refresh the house.

Casa Benasal label shows a composition that represents the house with the B, its roof with a line and on top of it a die-cut drop of water that allows us to see the wine in the bottle. The butterfly provides warmth to the composition and was picked because it is one of the first insects to disappear when using pesticides.
